viewing site on mobile phone

    I have two problems with my website ( http://www.ethicalsurrey.com ), and they might possibly be related. Both issues are to do with viewing the website on a mobile phone.

    Firstly, I've noticed that recently if I try and load a new page or post on my website on my phone, the page doesn't load and instead goes straight to a white screen. If I refresh the page it works, but only after refreshing. This seems to be a problem on every page/post I haven't visited before. I have tried it on several phones and several internet connections and continuously get the same problem.

    Secondly, my latest post (http://ethicalsurrey.com/newlands-corner-commercialisation-of-the-countryside/) when viewed on a phone, does not display properly - the post does not fill the width of the screen the same as previous posts, and some of the text at the end of the article actually doesn't fit into the text box correctly.

    Both of these issues only seem to occur when viewing the site on a mobile phone.

    Hello Greg,

    I'm sorry you're having problems with Ubegrid.

    1) We haven't had similar issue reported and I must admit it sounds a little bit strange. I tried to replicate it but without success, so I would need to ask you to deactivate any plugins that you might have active and try using a different mobile device to test this issue again. This way we can rule out any 3rd party plugin and mobile device specific issues.

    2) I tried replicating this one as well also without success, but this sounds like a bug we had reported. It's related to changing left sidebar width in the Theme Settings and then on mobile screen single post page's content doesn't take available space, but there is a empty space on the left.

    Fix is already included in our next release, but in the mean time you should be able to solve this by adding following CSS snippet to the "Custom CSS" field (Theme Settings -> ;Style):

    @media (max-width: 700px) {
        #wrapper {
            padding-left: 0 !important;

    If anything of the above doesn't solve your issues I would need your WP login credentials in order to take a closer look.
